Lessons of the Trees
You may bend and sway but I pray you never break. Trees are the ancient ones, living longer than many other beings on this earth and they hold deep wisdom inside of them that if we are quiet enough we can hear them. They follow little rules and grow as large as their surroundings will let them. A tree born in an open field will grow quickly with much sun, but it will die just as fast as there are no limitations to help it grow strong. It will soon topple over without support from others. A tree that is born in a thick forest floor will grow very slowly and will struggle to make it past 100 but once its branches reach the canopy, it becomes an elder. It was because of the shade, mycelium, other trees and little sun, it grew tall and resilient. You can you fast if you go alone, but you will go much farther together.
This flue is made from the cedar tree, walnut tree and rose quartz. Cedar is the traditional wood of flute making, honoring the traditions past. It also creates a sweeter sounding flute. These trees reach towards the heavens and hold divine messages in their cells. The walnut tree is the grandfather of trees, logical in its fruit but hearty and resilient.
